SCIMP reviews GP Contractual requirements from a technical perspective – that is we analyse and give advice on the correct Read Codes to use for recording contract related clinical data.
SCIMP is also involved in the QOF Board, a group that meets to act as an advisory body with to SG, SGPC, and PSD on the requirements for implementing the contract into GP systems. SCIMP brings clinical perspective to this process, as well as a comprehensive understanding of the clinical terminologies and data structures that are used in GP systems.
Our intent is to ensure that data recording requirements are pragmatic, sensible and safe.
