ABOUT

SCIMP are hosting this clinical informatics Special Interest Group meeting for health and eHealth professionals across NHS Scotland and the rest of the UK.

The Scottish Government’s Digital Health Strategy proposed the National Digital Platform for health information technology? But what does this really mean and how long will it take? What parts of the clinical record should be supported by the platform? How do we ensure reconciliation between primary and secondary care and avoid duplication? What are the advantages and disadvantages? What are the governance and technical challenges? And what does this mean for traditional Electronic Health Records vendors? For stimulating discussion on these questions and more, attend this meeting!
