SNUG Podcast

Posted by: Liz Lawrence - Posted on: October 22, 2020

SCIMP would like to make people aware that the Scottish National Users Group (SNUG) are regularly producing informative podcasts.  https://snughealth.podbean.com/ These are certainly worth a listen.

SNUG is also holding a virtual educational members day https://book.shsc.scot/shsc/frontend/reg/thome.csp?pageID=107748&eventID=294 on the 10th November 2020.  SCIMP’s Interim Clinical Lead Dr Chris Weatherburn will be delivering a keynote on Data Quality.

  • Previous : My understanding of the ePCS is that one the reasons it was introduced was to improve OOH experiences for palliative patients by giving them more direct access to clinical input. From the information on this site I gather that their calls are prioritized and also that they get through to a nurse directly. Is that still the case? And if so is that only the case if the ePCS is filled in rather than only an eKIS?
  • Next : Could you please give guidance on Read codes for SARs under GDPR; first to code the SAR, then to code ‘patient advised ready to collect’.
