eHealth Facilitators
Following the success of the facilitators in helping practices to prepare for the new GMS Contract and achieve their contract points, the project is being extended to include other e-health projects both within general practice and in the wider community. The facilitators will have a special skills framework developed which will include community mental health and acute trusts. It has been agreed that the national project will run for a further three years. SCIMP has provided clinical support to the facilitators and aims to continue this with a growing collaboration between SCIMP and the facilitators, looking at communication and educational issues relating to IT in Practice.
