The EMIS National User Group (EMIS NUG) is a non-profit making organisation set up to improve the use of health information. To achieve this we support EMIS users to get the best possible use out of their computer system by providing training and educational materials.
It is a registered charity and operates completely separately from EMIS. However EMIS NUG has a Watchdog committee which liaises with EMIS over issues related to support and development. This committee meet with directors of EMIS on a number of occasions through the year, and also have email contact with EMIS to raise specific issues related to support or development.
The EMIS NUG holds an Annual Conference, produces a regular magazine, and the website is a source of useful resources and educational content for all EMIS users.
